obsessedOf course, we all start our businesses for all different reasons and have different goals.

One of my main reasons to achieve a lifestyle that allows me to earn a good living with plenty of time left over to enjoy life. So while I love my business and take it very seriously, the crazy, all-consuming obsession is long gone.

If that’s your goal, you might enjoy these 5 ways to tell your no longer obsessed with Internet marketing:

5. You have no idea how much you made with Adsense in the last hour.

4. You can look at online social opportunity like Facebook and not think, “Now, how can I make money from this?”

3. Your kids no longer have to remind YOU that it’s time to get to school now.

2. You actually DO know what’s for dinner tonight and it ain’t drive through.

1. You tweet about inane things like what’s for dinner (and even make spelling errors doing so).

    7. You don’t sign up for every mailing list to see which “guru” is giving away their left kidney, firstborn, cornea when you purchase through their affiliate link.

    8. You don’t care when a site drop 20,000 alexa places.

    9. When you get affiliate cheques in the mail, you don’t rush to the bank to drop it in. instead you throw it on the pile and bank everything in on Friday.

    10. It’s ok to miss a tweet or 2 or 500 when you’re away for the weekend.

    LOL! Very good Andrew! I particularly like #7 and #8. My inbox is clean as a whistle and I definitely do remember the Alexa ranking obsessions. :-)

  4. Oh I’m still to new to this so needless to say I’m still very obsessed.
    I’m hoping the day will come when I can add to the list.
    Who said this business will give you more free time. It’s hard work but I’m enjoying it.

  5. 13. when you forget to check your clickbank commissions because they’re now direct deposit ;-)

    14. when you look at your bank statement and it doesn’t have a list of ebook purchases, LOL!

    15. when you do make the time to tweet and you don’t cringe if no one responds.

    16. when you can go away for a week and not have to wonder what you’re missing online

    17. when you’re confident in meeting the needs of your target market and knowing that’s enough
