  1. I just downloaded this and I can’t wait to read through it. I know there will be great tips, your information is always so helpful!

  2. :) …caught what appears to me to be an error in your entry up above “We all know that headlines for our sales pages, but they can be so darned hard to write!”. Perhaps I’m just reading it wrong.

So far, I’m really impressed with your thoroughness and I’m putting together my pieces so I can start using your services.

Yep, Dick you read it wrong. You were supposed to use
your psychic ability and fill in the blanks. :-)

    Please insert “are important”.

Thankfully, it’s a copywriting guide, not a proofreading one! I must admit I was rushed to get it out to you before heading out with the family. We’re on the road now, so I can’t fix it until I return.

Regardless, hope you all find it helpful!

  4. Thanks Alice! Can’t wait to read it and put it into practice.

  5. Excellent freebie, Alice. Thanks so much! I’ve printed it out and will keep it handy. I probably knew most of that but need to review it regularly, so it’s great to have it in a few well-presented pages.

Wow, that was brilliant. Thank you very much. I would have called it “A Little Bit Of CopyWritting Brilliance In A 4 Page PDF.”

You’re a champ Alice. So nice to see smart women on the internet.

    Nice job with this, Alice.

I keep a headline swipe file (and this will be added to it) and like to create the fill-in-the blank headline formulas like you have here from good headlines and sub-heads.

When you are aware of them, it is interesting how often they turn up online and at the grocery store, when you look at the magazine headlines.

  8. Great idea to include the basics; it’s easy to overlook the rules when trying to be creative.

  9. cool this is going into my swipe files.

I must add though I like the format

    “7 steps to …”

or “How to … In Under …. Hours!” these style of headlines always come up trumps.

  10. Thanks for sharing the tips. I like to learn from you because the guide is always short, with no filler material. That’s really important!

  11. Very interesting subject!

  12. Hello,

I just found your blog, and wanted to say “thanks” for all the great info I’ve seen so far. Just downloaded the free report (didn’t even have to give you my e-mail, that makes a nice change!) and can’t wait to read it.
