Marketing Lessons from the 80s?

What marketing lessons can we learn from 80s fashion and music? Ummmm….probably none, but here’s some pics anyway.

    I am ROFL!
Is that a costume party you went to recently or did you just upload some old pics?
Girl you have too much time on your hands!
And I never realized your hair was red.

Has to be a costum party the hair wasn’t BIG enough LOL. I love it. Sad part of it all I still wear pink lipstick (not so bright as before none the less pink). I remember those styles…what could have we been thinking back then….I still shutter when I see bright blue eyeshadow and bright jumpsuits….THIS gave me such a blast from the past I have to go dig out the picture album! :-D

    Alice,

Love the pictures although 15 years ago I was 8 years old I really don’t remember much from back then.

  • Nell:

LOL! Great pictures! Gave me a chuckle. ;)

  • Alice:

Given that my outfit would be circa 1984-1986 – it was definitely a costume part. I looked a little younger back then. ;)

  • The Thong Dude:

    Alice,
You could wear 60′s, 70′s, 80′s attire (or nothing at all) and you’d still look like a hot little sex-kitten to me…
    WOW, what a hotty!!!

  • The Thong Dude:

    Dear Alice,
I’ve been pondering my last comments and thought, “what a SEXIST PIG!” I should be more in tune with my feminine side (NOT)…

O.K. Alice, I am interested in how you know so much concerning the 80′s when you weren’t even born yet!

I know, my writings are getting a bit annoying here, but give me a different topic and see what I can do!

  • Petite Mom Blogger:

Those are some great photos..Did you really have the socks and reeboks on though? lol…

  • Alice:

Thong Dude…you are forgiven. Interesting name, by the way.

Petite Mommy…you have your answer here:

I suppose what worries me more is the total lack of KISS shirts.

“they were make for loving you babY!

I think that lessons can be learned from this…

    Ponder it for a moment.

Disclaimer: Yes, Alice is a very lovely person, and we all learn lessons.

Fashion is a lot like internet marketing – the fact that some people will sell (and buy) some ugly stuff that won’t get them ahead in life. I learned this a long time ago, I’m glad Alice knows it too.

    Love,
    TheHBL.com guy.
