No More Excuses…Build That Website – Sweetie Saturday Giveaway

Sweetie Saturday Website GiveawayIn my near 6 years of working online, I’ve come across a LOT of people that keep absorbing information, coming up with ideas and then…NOTHING.

So, if you’re guilty of this over-thinking with little true action, take heart because you’re not alone.

This week, I’d like to make a BIG difference to one lucky person who is having trouble getting things off the ground. So, here’s what’s included in this week’s Sweetie Saturday Giveaway:

Easy Website Builder1. 6 months subscription to the ULTRA-EASY (and sweet-looking!) Internet Based Family website builder. This website builder is so easy that you can have a website up and running in no-time flat. Learn more about the easy website builder here. You can even take it for a 10-day free trial right now. (Value: $102)

2. A professionally-designed page header. With the site builder, you can quickly and easily add a pre-designed header…but I’m going to provide you with a custom Internet Based Family header built to your specifications. (Value: $50)

3. 5 fully-researched articles. You choose the topics and we’ll write ‘em for you, so you’ll have something to put on your website right away. (Value $100)

4. 2 PLR Article Bundles and 1 Research Bundle. 5 articles is a great start, but how about 30 more, plus research on 15 additional topics to make it easier to create even more content. You’ll choose from 2 article bundles and 1 research bundle and much of the work is done for you. (Value $33.91)

5. 1 Press Release Pack. Generate publicity for your brand new website, by choosing a press release pack just right for your business. (Value: $17.97)

But I won’t leave you hanging.

6. Your prize winnings come with 1 hour consultation with yours truly to help ensure you’re making the most of this opportunity and putting together a brand new profitable venture. (Value: $150)

TOTAL PRIZE VALUE: $453.94

So Why Don’t We Just Put The Website Together for the Winner?

If you noticed, the winner of this prize will have plenty of planning and some work to do…even though we’ve taken care of a lot of the grunt work. The winner will need to:

-> Decide on a target market / topic for his/her website.
-> Consult with the graphic designer on the page header.
-> Choose topics for the 5 original articles.
-> Distribute the press releases (but don’t worry, the pack comes with full instructions).
-> Choose the basic design of the website (this is really easy with the website builder).
-> Put the content up on the website and monetize it accordingly.]

Seems like a lot of work for a giveaway, right? Why wouldn’t I just set the winner up with a ready-to-run website? Well – because I think that would be setting the winner up for failure. Online business is about making important decisions…and putting in the necessary work, so if you’re not up for it…please don’t enter.

I want the winner to be a motivated person, who just needs that extra nudge and tools to get things started. If you’re that type of person, here’s how to enter:

1. Write a comment with your full name, state/province and country stating that you’d like to enter. Please include 3 sentences (or more) on why you’d like to get your hands on this great prize.

2. Deadline for entry is 9 AM PST Tuesday (February 5, 2008 – Click here to see what time it is in PST).

3. I’ll pick a winner with great potential and announce him/her on Tuesday afternoon.

Good luck!

  • Holy cow! This is an incredible opportunity for anyone who needs that push to get going. I’ll be sure to share this!

  • Oh, WOW – what an incredible offer, Alice!

I absolutely love your Easy Website Builder, and that is what I did my diana2.com website with 3 years ago, and it was the very best choice I could have made (I just happened to find you on the internet, after 2 previous years of trying so many other choices, unsuccessfully).

Hey, Sweetie! I need a nudge….I’m filled with great ideas…have great experience…even purchased a couple of your products…but, need some “sweet” help putting it all together!

    Cheers!

  • Brad Shirley:

I would like to enter the contest. I want to build a site on what men really look for in a woman. I believe that it is a topic that will always in vogue ergo plenty of interested traffic. I believe articles should be readily available on the subject and with some Google ad revenue on board it should at least prove to be a moderate success.

    Hello Ms. Seba,

Wow, this prize sounds like a wonderful opportunity. So why pick me? :) I purchased the url www.healthyschoolfundraising.com to blog about healthy school fundraising — but I have found the technical aspects of putting together a website challenging. I have a great passion for fundraising, and with childhood obesity at an all-time high: this website could be a great resource for schools and families. I am a strong writer, with experience blogging about fundraising. If given this opportunity — I would do everything within my power to make it a success! Please help me help schools and familys put on healthy school fundraisers! Thank you for your time.

  • I am a wahm/sahm trying to get several sites off the ground. My latest project is my talk radio show MamasTimeOut. While I have an introductory/landing page right now for it (which is doing fairly well), I am going to eventually turn it into a more professional and hopefully profitable website, while networking all my other sites to it. I’d love the opportunity to work with you and learn from you. This would also help free up some of my time as a sahm/wahm on a limited budget.

  • Alice, this is such a great offer. I want to enter your Saturday giveaway. I am having trouble getting things off the ground. There is so much information coming through my email box that it is so hard to focus and decide which direction I should go. I have joined your affitliate sweetie program and read other promotional material you have written and even though you write with precission and clarity I still can’t find a starting point. I would really welcome a one on one nudge to get started putting ideas to work generating an income. What a boost to be able to have a professionally written article knowing that it is correctly written to appeal to people coming to your site and hopefully motivate them to buy.

    Hi Alice!

Another great Sweetie Saturday Giveaway! I would love to win this week’s giveaway, because I can see that it is jam-packed with a lot of the tools I need to help my wife and I put our ideas on the board…er, online! We’ve had several ideas, and continue to work on them all. Now we will have the opportunity to put it all together. Our hope is to help single moms and widows, others who are in dead-end jobs, to learn the ease of online businesses, target profitable niches and launch them to the freedom their own businesses would afford. We want to have a kind of business building incubator site for helping those who have no idea where to start, giving them the coaching and tools to make their dreams come alive.

    Thanks again!
    Paul

  • Erin:

I spend hours and hours and sleepless nights and headaches, etc. putting together any new site I dream up (if one can dream without sleep, lol). This sounds like it would help immensely with the mechanics and design. Thank you for this opportunity. (Please use my email for my personal details should I win.)

  • Shanese Sibley:

    Hi Alice

It seems that technology moves at the speed of light as do my thoughts, unfortunately my computer savvyness cannot keep up. I have tried for the past 3 years to hop on the information highway and just cannot get going. This “nudge” would do the trick to get the juices flowing with my handmade bath and jewelry products.

    Thanks
    Shanese

  • Lita Pitruzzello:

Guilty as charged! Too much overthinking where my ideas can’t seem to get off the ground!

Your contest is an exceptional one and who wouldn’t want to participate in a chance of finally getting off the ground to soar towards ”sweet” success. Please count me in this much appreciated Sweetie Saturday Giveaway contest. I look forward to the opportunity of putting ideas into motion while learning the ropes alongside a sweetie mentor. It would be a blessing to finally see the light of success at the end of this long and lonely tunnel!

  • Jeanne H. Dockins:

Thanks for this is a very generous giveaway offer Alice.

I have a domain name RomanceYourLove.com. but desperately need help getting it off the ground as I am an IM newbie.

I look forward to teaching people who are in love how to spark the “fire” back into a relationship where the passion once shared is now but a dim glow.

Sometimes life’s stressors can cause couples to lose the romance they once experienced.

It is my heart’s desire to help couples bring passion and romance back into their lives.

Hopefully, with your assitance RomanceYourLove.com will
help people realize that romance rekindled can bring joy and fulfillment into their loving but passionless lives.

    All the Best!
    Jeanne

  • Kathy Pine:

What a super offer, Alice. I’ve just given notice at my “day job” and will be starting my internet business in the very near future. This package sure would be a great way to get things rolling in a very positive way!

  • Dear Alice,

What a good timing? I would like to enter, but not sure if you will consider someone who already has a store. In the past 3 days, it was a nightmare for me. My only online store www.favors-n-gifts.com was down and I didn’t know why. I knew my hosting guy is moving, but I didn’t expect any downtime as there should be a backup plan. I was unable to contact my hosting guy until this afternoon. Now, my store is back.

But I didn’t get any sleep in the past 3 days. My shopping cart system is licensed, however, it’s not user friendly if you don’t know anything about programming and codes. I don’t know anything about these. So, I have to hire programmer every often and I have to find a hosting company who knows this shopping cart system inside out, otherwise, they don’t know how to re-set my cart if they need to move my site to other server. And now, my choice is very limited, so I’m concern about the support.

I know I couldn’t rely on just 1 website. So, I need to build one more store. I was trying to find another shopping cart in the past few days. But they are very high priced and need a lot of custom work. I know IBF has a built-in shopping cart, so I really want to try it. I will be great if I can win the 6 months subscription.

    Thanks for this opportunity.

    Grace

  • Thanks for the offer. I am throwing my hat in the ring for consideration.

I have been trying and trying and trying to get good quality content up. I have an SBI account as well as are using XSite Pro..at least I am using the tutorial. I am about to purchase some canned sites for niche markets that have everything you need to get sites up. It sounds legit anyway.

I work 9-5 and so PLR is the way for me to go to get content. I am learning how to do this and get my keywords in the pages to rank in the engines. I would like to get monetized a little quicker so I can kiss the 9-5 goodbye. so I have ideas, I am getting going, just the learning curve, HTML, Graphics, CSS…WHEW, Adsense, CJ, keep track of affiliates…I want to learn how one can do this all and still laugh at the end of the day.

My goal is to have 10 sites or more up by end of the year- each earning $10-$50/day a piece. So I am motivated and learning at an amazing rate. I will succeed.

  • Joanne Lorenzo:

I need this web page as I have a run an outreach ministry for women. We are located in Niagara Falls however, we drive to Buffalo once a month and search for women on the streets who are in need of Jesus. We also host a sidewalk Sunday School for children ages 5 – 12 years of age. God bless you.

  • Wowee, Wow, Wow! Amazing give-away, Alice. I’ll spread the word.

  • What a wonderful way to bring the flood of information into a funnel for profit! I certainly need a jumping off point. I have studied and read and gotten so excited, but can’t get the site part to fall into place. Please consider me for this program. This needs to be my year!

  • Hi, Alice! As I type this note, I am listening to you speak on internet and affiliate marketing from the archived recordings from the Hot Seminar (June 29, 2006) on Kelly McCausey’s site. Last August I made the decision to join the ranks of WAHM’s and WAHGM’s (work at home grandmoms!!) I have reached that season of being caregiver to my mom as well as my daughter and – in March – part-time ‘playmate’ with my 2 year old grandson. I’m working as a home-based reservation agent as I develop my business. I registered my site , Ducky’s Place, with Internet Based Family last fall and have yet to design and ‘work’ it! I have concepts – and that’s about all at this point. Please consider my entry into your sweepstakes…and thank you so much for what you, Kelly, Mila and your corps of those fabulous WAHMs are doing for the rest of us. Take care.

I would love to win this fabulous prize for my young adult son, who has learning disabilities. He has a dream of having his own website about karting and motorsport to bring in some extra income but he needs a great deal of initial help from me to get his ideas off the ground. This would be a fantastic kick-start for us both and I can then teach him how to use the F.W.B. and give him my time to keep it growing.

Thankyou so much for this generous Saturday giveaway competition!

  • Mary Beth"Sam" Corbeil:

I am a senior citizen looking to try and set up a website and survey and/or blog that will allow other seniors to have their voices heard in relation to how they are treated by people in both business and health situations now that they are older i.e. what they like and what they don’t like. However, I have absolutely no idea how to do this without help but any of the help I see is way beyond what I can afford, so, when I saw your website with the wonderful offer of a Saturday giveaway, I felt I just had to take this opportunity to apply for your generous offer of assistance.

Thank you for considering my request for your Saturday giveaway.

  • WOW! Alice you just keep coming up great prizes!
I would love to win this prize. I have been studying/stalking =) you for about 2 years now. You have been a true inspiration to me. Currently I have a website BakersfieldMom.com, but have aspirations to expand on it with another domain and need some guidance as well as some outsourced help. If I get this wonderful opportunity it put me on the fasttrack to the path that I have been currently stumbling towards….slowly!
Thank you for providing us the opportunity to learn from you!

  • Hi Alice,

You are certainly full of creative surprises and appear to have a genuinely generous heart! – I am an artisan jewelry designer that needs your experience and interest in developing a new internet based family website. I use and love your website builder, but have no experience and little talent to develop good article content, press releases etc. Having spent many hours building my current jewelry website, I am eager to start a new site with the articles and content to compliment my hand-designed jewelry. Obviously, I’m not a graphic designer, and developed the header and design of my current website through much trial and error. Now that I have an opportunity to make some changes to my business name, logo and image, I know that a fresh website with a new header, design and content is necessary to successfully attract my target market (all while designing and photographing jewelry). As you know, there is much to consider, your creative talent and support would be most helpful and appreciated.

    Kindest regards,

  • Hi Alice,

This is a letter within a letter. I just wrote this to you and had not sent it yet when I read your offer. I’m right at that point where I’m finally ready to focus and push off and fly.

I have my ideas together, I have my timelines and I’m ready to implement your suggestions. This is the email I just wrote BEFORE I read your email:

    Hi Alice,

A light bulb just went off for me. I am looking at the wealth of information that you offer and how comfortable I feel ordering your products.

As I mentioned before, a couple of my students have expressed an interest in attending further classes with me, which I don’t even teach yet; however, to get me started in developing classes that will be useful to them (online courses, video classes and email classes, etc), I’m thinking about emailing them a survey asking them about what types of help they need with their eBay business, where they are stuck and what types of courses they would interested in taking.

I am really looking at covering areas that are not generally covered by all the gurus.

I know it needs to be a carefully crafted sales letter that offers the promise of great content and an ongoing relationship.

You’ve already given us lots of ideas to get started; however, any further feedback would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Shadrene

P.S. I’ve just glanced at Lesson 4 and see some great stuff there.

  • William:

    Hello Alice,

First let me say that I love your website and your giveaways but I think you have outdone yourself this time. OH MY GOODNESS what a fantastic offer.

I have been in the healthcare field for the past 11 years and discovered internet/affiliate marketing about 6 months ago. I just love this stuff. I have read about 2000 pages (no kidding) so far, from well know marketing personalities including Ken Envoy and Perry Marshall as well as others. I am ready, willing and able to take that last giant leap and build a profitable business on the web.

Since I am in the healthcare field I believe I should stick to what I know and create a site dedicated to this subject. I have more ideas that I can count and I just need that last push to get it up and running. Teach me, mold me, make me great (or at least help me not to go broke ;) .

Hope to hear from you on Tuesday.

    William

  • Liz:

    Hi Alice,
This is a great give away!
I am in Long Island, NY. For the past 6 years I have been a daycare provider and have loved and hated and then loved again my daycare. Over the years after attending training workshop after training workshop I came across of a lot of the same issues that providers go through, which were very similar to mine. Online you will find tons of info on “starting a daycare”, but not too much on daycare business consulting/coaching. There are also many forums that are full of provider’s #@tching about their day, customers, the regulations and forum-monitors who are full of advise/talk. I found one site that is offering coaching in this field and charging $90 per hour for over the phone. As a “home” provider this is way over my budget. So I want to do forum coaching, privately, one-on-one, at a much more – way more affordable price. I am currently a MMer and am working with another MMer on a header already. I am also working on a free e-book about “daycare reality”, the cold facts about running a daycare from your home. My current daycare website is designed using your website builder ;) If you go to the site and click on the last link you will see a list of services for this concept. Whether I win or not, any advice would be sooo greatly appreciated.
