What is Your Favorite Blog in the Whole Wide World?
There are tons of blogs out there…some good, some not so good.
Q: What is your favorite blog (any niche/topic/market) and what makes it so great?
By the way, don’t suck up and say this one, all right?
And to add to the fun, I’ll randomly draw 3 names from the answers. Those 3 people will get $50 Sweetie Bucks to spend on any of our products and services. I’ll draw the names this Friday, January 2….so come back then. Just make sure you post your full name in the name field and a valid email address in the email field.

LOL! I DO like this one!
I actually have a lot of favorites and it’s really hard to name just one. Hmmm…..I guess my favorite blog would be http://especiallyheather.com
Wow, that was hard. I guess it would be against the “rules” if we named more than one?

Hi, Alice!
My favorite blog is www.stevepavlina.com/blog, known as Personal Development for Smart People.
This site helps you improve yourself as a person which in turn helps me to buld a better business. The articles, “Why you should never get a job” , the “self discipline series”, and the “calibration article” are all priceless and recommended reading for business owners.
Did you know I started reading your blog shortly after you created it? I actually read all your archive posts to catch up and then kept on reading!
Danielle Chonody
Your blog is one of two that I check every day!
My favorite blog is Lynn Terry’s http://www.clicknewz.com. At Clicknewz Lynn shows people how to start an online business without the hype.
I love Lynn’s honest and helpful writing style. That she mixes business so well with what she is doing personally. There is so much participation on the blog – lots of comments. I also like that she uses photos, videos and audios to spice up her content.
George
I really like FreelanceSwitch and Niki’s Design’O'Blog.
Lisa Hartwell
If I had to pick just one blog it would be Darren Rowse’s Problogger blog: http://www.problogger.net/blog/ – there is always something interesting to read there.
But some close runners-up include Michelle MacPherson’s Social Media blog and Yaro Starak’s Entrepreneur’s Journey.
Of course, yours has one of the top places in my Reader too.

There are soooo many good blogs out there and I have a lot of favorites but, honestly, I need a mental break online sometimes and my favorite blog to do that is http://www.holycuteness.blogspot.com
(Like how I avoided leaving out any of my favorite bloggers?
)
April
Oops….I got the link wrong! Its http://holy-cuteness.blogspot.com/

There are so many great blogs out there, that this is particularly tough. If I had to pick just one it might have to be Remarkablogger at http://michaelmartine.com/ because he provides so much fab info all the time and responds to everything I ever ask him.
Then again, my ALL TIME favorite is Naomi Dunford at http://ittybiz.com/
If you know Naomi, then you don’t need to ask why she’s a favorite. If you don’t you really ought to read her!
Christine
Besides my own and this one (of course!), my other favorites fill my google reader! There are two that I love and visit often though, and I can’t decide between the two, so I’m indulging myself with listing them both.
The first is for her hilarity and just plain fun blog, The Bloggess! http://thebloggess.com/ Don’t read if you’re easiliy offended, unless you like to be offended, then it’s ok.
My other favorite blog is my friend and life coach. She is an inspiration to me and often my butt kicker. Her blog is about being a successfull single mom and using the law of attraction to get the life you want and deserve! http://thesuccessfulsinglemom.blogspot.com/
Rebecca Jones
My favorite non-business blog would be http://www.hope4peyton.org/
Her posts are funny and raw. She writes in a way that the reader can feel the emotions.
I think reading this post changed my life. Made me appreciate the everyday things and everything I take for granted!

Ok,
I have many favorite blogs, but I’ll tell you 2 of my very favorites.
1.) Daily Blog Tips at:
http://www.dailyblogtips.com/
2.) Entrepreneurs Journey – Yaro Starak at:
http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/
Oh, then there are a few of my own, which of course are my favorites too, Profit-Internet at: http://www.profit-internet.com
and The Dreamtime – Astrology/Numerology blog at: http://www.thedreamtime.com/blog
Thanks to everyone for posting – great to see what you’re reading : )
Peace,
-Brett

I have a lot of favorite blogs, but I think my all time favorite blog is the SITS blog. http://thesecretisinthesauce.blogspot.com
I have found so many wonderful blogs and new bloggy friends through them. Each day the feature a new blog plus you can scroll through the comments to find other new blogs, and sometimes they do bloggy parties where we visit each other’s links.
I just love those girls! Can you tell?
Anne
It is really difficult to pick just one, isn’t it? I have a regular morning trail that I follow through the blogworld and they are all my favourites.
I love Domestik Goddess (http://domestikgoddess.com/) The author is knowledgeable in many areas and is a very talented writer. What keeps me coming back, though is her wit. Read some of the posts and the authors comments and they are really funny. Just go and search on the word ‘bacon’ and see what you get. The blog looks conventional, has an almost conventional name yet is full of unconventional posts. It is a standout in blogworld.

LOL! Well, if I’m not allowed to say *yours*, Alice… ;-D
http://www.homeschoolingfx.com/
Quality, quality content – really useful tips and links; enjoyable to read; and a refreshingly easy-on-the-eyes, simple layout (it’s the Adsense-ready “Pandangan” theme.)

There are so many but one that stands out to me is called On The Dot Creations http://onthedotcreations.typepad.com/onthedotcreations/
I like Julie’s blog a lot because she highlights Etsy shops and until her blog I really didn’t know what Etsy was but now I’m hooked and I even made my first purchase because of one of the products she highlighted. She does these things called Shop casts where she shows off her favorite products of an Etsy shop. So fun!
Tim
My favorite blog is my first blog because it ismy first. Nobody forgets their first attempt, right? lol It is http://www.familydefense4u.com/blog/.
Rebecca Wolf
http://oldways.com/ always gives me a unique perspective on life and how the world of the spirit works. Jeff provides a healing, daily meditation for me and is my spiritual oasis in a work-weary world.

I liked Po Bronson’s blog on social studies.
He talked about kids and parenting styles and how society is changing and its effects on the family.
Definitely a good read for any WAHM or WAHD (and he gives good biz advice on his main site too – check out his essays).

Hi Alice,
I don’t like your rules…
Great contest and a great way again to add wonderful content to an already wonderful blog.
I cannot tell a lie….and it’s okay, I don’t need to win and I don’t consider this a “suck up” as you so sweetly put it.
My favorite blog is: http://www.internetmarketingsweetie.com/blog and I’ll tell you why;
1. I get just the right number of emails and reminders to visit
2. There is always something worth my time to read on your blog
3. I have learned so much and I know there is more to learn
4. Your encouragement and guidance is always on target
Thank you so much and I look forward to a prosperous 2009 right along with you…and my favorite blog!
Sharon Trombly

my favorite blog is make money online 4 idiots.
Aimee Koester
How sad I forgot to follow the directions! Anyway, there is my full name instead of just my first name and last initial.
Jessica Colon
Right now my favorite blog is www.sparkplugging.com/wahm by Kelly McCausey. I love it because of Kelly’s no nonsense, keep it real attitude. Not only does she tell it like it is but she provides useful information without the fluff.
Lisa Wood
well, I have a few that are favorites in my reader – the ones I go to first over anything else.
When I want solid, honest info., I come here (I’m not sucking up), or to clicknewz, or to kelly mccausey’s blog.
When I just want a laugh I go to dooce.com or the blogess.

I love Television without Pity for my TV recapping entertainment. The recaps are comprehensive and humorous. I can always rely on taking a break from my workday with a little reading from this interesting blog.
i also use Problogger and Yaro’s blogs, but those are strictly for learning about blogging and social media.
