Photo Alice Seba and Intern Diana Walker
OK – now I have been interning with Alice Seba for 2 weeks – actually Wednesday and Thursday each week, so it is only 4 days in total so far.
On my very first post on April 8th as a New Intern, I noticed the comment by Tiffany Smith – “How exciting! I’d love to see some pictures of the behind the scenes action.†….Thanks for giving me the idea, Tiffany!
I took my camera with me last week, and persuaded Alice to pose for a photo… as well as being a sweetie – she is a “shy†sweetie! – she doesn’t like having her photo taken, so I am so happy she finally agreed – I think it turned out great, don’t you?!!

It seems like I have learned a lot in this short time already. I feel that I am receiving a lot almost by osmosis, sitting near Alice and hearing her talk to herself…. (ooops, is that confidential, Alice?…..lol!)
Anyway, as Alice outlined in her post re – Part of the Problem is Technology - she has kept me busy with the transfer of her Internet Marketing Sweetie products from QuickSales (1SC) to Nanacast Business Centralization & Automation System now that she has made the decision.
It looks like a very comprehensive system, and I was privileged to be part of the research aspect, leading up to Alice’s decision. It was an eye-opener, to see all the details she has to keep track of, and consider when running her “empireâ€.
As you can see in Alice’s A Solution…But Now Hard Work Ahead! post, there is definitely a lot of hard work involved. I happen to enjoy data entry… and so I am helping Alice with that aspect as part of my internship.
 To take years and years of work and data, from one system and transfer it smoothly, and professionally, and error-free, is a gigantic task, but I’m sure it will be so worthwhile, when all is running smoothly on the new system.
As Alice notes, it is going to be TRUE Spring Cleaning for her business!

Diana Walker Happy Intern to Alice Seba
Wow – this is so much fun! – This is my first day interning with Alice Seba, Internet Marketing Sweetie.
In May 2005 – I “met” Alice online in the WAHM (Work At Home Mom), Mom Masterminds forum, she founded along with Kelly McCausey and Lynette Chandler. I was so impressed with the knowledge of these three ladies, my new Mentors.
They were always there for me, and for all the other members. This was amazing to me, and such a gift. I had just paid out more than $6000 for business and online mentoring during the previous 2 years, and I was still feeling lost and lonely in the online world.
All that changed! — Here were these amazing, talented, sharing ladies, who were making money online and were sharing their priceless coaching and support for less than $50 per month. Unbelievable!
Fast forward 4 years….. and here I am, sitting in the same office with Alice Seba while I type this!!
Soon after I joined Mom Masterminds, I was very fortunate to discover that Alice lived within a half hour’s drive from my home. What a coincidence! During the past 4 years, Alice and I and other members of our mentoring group have been able to meet up in person a few times. I also attended a local Internet Marketing Workshop a year ago with Alice.
Anyway, 2 weeks ago, I sent Alice an email to ask if I could receive some one-on-one coaching with her. Well, I got way more than I asked for!! Alice offered me this sought-after position as an Intern – in exchange for coaching.
What a gift! I know there are going to be many responses to this post, saying how LUCKY I am — because Alice truly is an international, highly respected guru in the Internet Marketing world. Believe me, I know how fortunate I am!!
I feel like this is my first day at school – or my first day at a new job – but I know that my “boss” is a Sweetie!! and very humble! It’s been 5 years since I’ve gone outside of the home to spend a day in an office environment, and you know what? It’s fun!
Today, I have helped Alice explore options for consolidating her “empire” – she doesn’t call it that – but that is my word for it! As technology has grown, there are different areas of her business which could work more smoothly under “one roof”, so that is part of what is happening in our first session together.
Also – for the occasion – I purchased a new laptop. I got an Acer Aspire 4520 – which I am just loving, so far. I find the keyboard on any laptop is too small for me though…. after over 30 years of typing – I need the standard sized keyboard. But, no problem, I bought a great keyboard to carry with me, and just plugged it in. Fortunately the office here is set up so that it is so easy to work side-by-side with Alice.
My first day of being an Intern with Alice Seba is coming to an end – but my memory of it will last a lifetime! – This is a very special time. I will keep on learning, and will share with you, as I learn!
