How Do You Test & Track Your Marketing
Q: I always hear people talking about testing and tracking in Internet marketing. How do you do this?
A: The Internet is an almost perfect marketing medium in that it makes it easy and inexpensive for you to track results and test different marketing techniques on your website. If you don’t know what parts of your marketing are working and which aren’t, you are certainly losing money. Through consistent testing and tracking, you can continue to increase your newsletter opt-ins, sales conversions and more.
I know a lot of people resist testing or tracking because they think it’s too much work or maybe too technical. I was one of these people, but I’m a proud “recovering resister”
as I am quickly seeing the results of sticking with it. I am currently split testing sales letters, tracking my ads and sources of traffic. With each improvement, my sales are improving and my newsletter opt-in rates are increasing too.
But still, I’m not expert to speak on this topic. Instead, I invite you to listen to this audio with two of my favorite avid testers & trackers, John Reese & Armand Morin. They’ll show how to test and track — and you’ll see it’s not as complicated or time consuming as you may have once thought.

Resources Mentioned in the Call:
DynaTracker: This is the program John mentions during the call. The nice thing about this script is that it tracks and split tests for you…and you don’t even have to install it — they’ll install it for you. That was a relief for a tech dummy like me.
Proanalyzer: This is the program Armand mentions in the call for tracking. It’s a very powerful program that tells you exactly where your visitors came from and what actions they took while on your website.
