Vera Raposo has been an inspiration to many since she began her online business in 2000.

She found early entrepreneurial success as a retail store owner in Canada and expanded to five retail locations. She eventually sold the stores and traded the retail world for the online world.

Like many moms starting an online business, Vera began selling items on eBay. She knew how to research what items were hot and how to write compelling product descriptions because of her retail experience.

With her new love of the internet, Vera began coaching other retail store owners about why they needed to have an online presence. Her retail experience and new found knowledge about online business helped her to successfully relate to other retailers.

At the same time, Vera started building a successful scrapbooking business online. She has been featured in many magazines and blogs and her scrapbooking podcast, Scrappers Talk Radio, has a wide following.

Now Vera is the owner of the website www.SmallBusinessBranding.com where she spends her time coaching and advising other business owners about the importance of branding their business to achieve success. She has a team of experts writing for the site who provide personal stories and different perspectives to help her readers.
